I was just skimming this thread and noticed that some people were suggesting an additional forum for personal grievances or celebrations - events that don’t really seem appropriate to be categorized as “mundane” or “pointless.” This way, we wouldn’t even have to consider changing the name of MPSIMS. ---

The MPSIMS name has been around a long time and I’ve never seen it offend or bother anyone. See **jsgoddess** ’ post for one example. I’ve explained it once or twice to make sure a newbie wasn’t offended, but I don’t think there’s an imperative to do anything about it. In any case, we considered what people were saying here and the name isn’t being changed. ---

We could make a sub-board (meaning it still shows up under “newest post” by MPSIMS, but is actually contained in a forum linked at the top of the MPSIMS index). I don’t think it’s necessary though. ---
