# Mr. Ed the Zebra?

On [http://www.snopes.com](http://www.snopes.com), they purport that Mr. Ed, the talking horse was in fact a zebra.

WTF!? A black & white (B/W) animal filmed with a b/w camera is gonna look b/w! There’s no magic cancelling effect!

Is [Snopes.com](http://Snopes.com) trying to pull a fast one? Debunking ULs on one hand and starting more with the other?
