# Mr. Potter's comeuppance

I once read where a scene showing Mr. Potter from _It’s a Wonderful Life_ getting what he’s had coming all of his life was shot, but never survived the edit process and was lost forever. What a pity.
I’ll personally speculate that it showed the bank examiners finding an undocumented $7k during an audit, and he goes to prison after losing everything. Predictable and boring.
What are the kickers you’d LIKE to see? I have a few…
- Potter is outed as being a proto Jerry Sandusky.
- Potter dies of syphilitic dementia after catching a dose from Violet Bick.
- Potter gets his own big reveal, and dies of a heart attack after he sees how miserable people are because he was alive.
Any other ideas?
