Separately, we also try to figure out why Trump gets support, and at least one reason can be a general lack of intelligence. We also, of course, will mock the intelligence of Trump supporters directly. We don’t need to be coy. But even if this was a valid parallel, so what? That’s tu quoque. Why does how liberals act have anything to do with trying to understand the motivations of those on the right who go after this particular junior senator for the smallest of things–in this case, at worst, a misunderstanding of financial terminology that led to a gaffe? If I’m wrong, then what reason do you think that conservatives are going after AOC for the tiniest of things? What can it be other than to try and undermine her as a big public face of the progressive movement? What are they implying other than “progressivism is stupid: look at AOC!”? ---

Yeah, I don’t know how she got that Chicago-style accent growing up in Alaska. I never thought she was all that hot, personally—too square-jawed. Nor did I take much notice of AOC previously, but that is a very sexy look in that dance video. ---
