AOC’s politically inexperienced, and there are issues where she’s ignorant but has spoken up anyway and made a fool of herself. But (a) she’s pretty smart (a hell of a lot smarter than Palin) and she’ll learn, (b) she’s been a member of the U.S. Congress for less than two days, while Palin had been governor of a state and was running for Vice President of the United States (so even if they were equal in intelligence and ability, which one was in way more over her head?), (c) probably has more of a clue on most issues than most of the Republicans in Congress, and (d) has almost singlehandedly elevated the Green New Deal from a fringe issue to the mainstream, which is already a more positive accomplishment than anything Palin ever did. ---
