I created a Word document in MS Word 2007 (on a PC with Window 7), and I moved it onto a PC with Windows XP and MS Word 2007. Although it is the same Word software, it is acting as if there is a compatibility issue when trying to open the file. Does anyone know why this may be? ---

It might help if you clarified what you mean by “it is acting as if there is a compatibility issue when trying to open the file.” What happens when you attempt to open the file? Is it possible that the file is just corrupt? ---

Will have to post additional info tomorrow. It is my daughter’s issue, actually. She’s already gone to bed, so I’ll have to ask her tomorrow. FYI: What’s really weird is she said she moved the file to another PC with Word 2003, and the file opened without a problem!
