I’m opening this thread because your comments in [this one](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=6192365#post6192365) have totally derailed the discussion and frankly, I’ve about had it with your constant misogynistic bullshit. Your comments are obviously made to inflame. Congrats. You did it. You totally switched focus from the OP’s request for advice to your sorry excuse for an opinion about how relationships work. I have no idea what your mommy did to you, asshole, but get some fucking therapy and get over yourself. My god, I really pity the self-loathing you’re going through, but most of us have enough difficulty finding our way in relationships. I don’t know; either **msmith** is one of the most openly misogynistic guys around, or he’s a 16 year old nerd living in his parent’s basement who’s never even spoken to a woman. Either way, his shit is definitely getting old. And he’s not even right about women. He’s just plain wrong, and I’m tired of his insulting me and my gender. I have never done the things he accuses women of; none of the women I know conduct themselves like that, but somehow he’s gotten the idea that all women are lying, manipulative, evil bitches. He seriously needs to meet a better class of women, if his attitudes are based on experience. ---

If women are acting like that, don’t men have any responsibility to tell them it isn’t acceptable, and dump them for it? If the women keep getting what they want with bad behaviour, where is the incentive to act decently? And I’m still not buying that the majority of women act like that. Some, sure, but I wouldn’t agree it’s even half. ---
