Hey crazy burrito your bias is showing. Do you remember this? "Hmm. Yeah, Rand Rover is sort of a common enemy. Even more so that Der Trihs, who seems to have some fans. I don’t care who posts or who doesn’t or who gets banned or not. All I care about is whether I’m entertained or not. The preemptive goodbye thread was sort of a decent flame out. I’d have liked it better if mswas had called all the mods something nasty and triple dog dared them to ban him. Xploder style. " Gee, I wonder who could be the author of this quote. He was put on final warning in 2005, and managed to behave himself fairly well for several years after that. And then we come to last year. Between April and August of last year, he picked up six warnings - the last few of them were related to his Mary Jo Kopechne binge, but almost all were for personal insults outside the Pit - and was suspended for a month. Suspension means “we don’t want any problems with you for a long time, or you may get banned.” That lasted all of three months: he got another warning in January. Not a good sign but we didn’t want to ban him over one slip up. He got yet another one yesterday: I told him he needed to post a debate topic and he called me a dick. Smooth move if you’re trying to stay on a message board, right? We had enough votes to ban him for that, but despite the insult he did follow my instructions in starting a new thread. All things being equal I’d rather not ban someone for insulting me. So he stayed. But it was made clear he was out of chances, and we know how he responded to that. (“Alack, I cannot help myself and am wont to be banned upon the morrow. Pity me!”) What happens today? The does the exact same thing that happened yesterday: he flipped out in response to a mod note. So after 15 warnings and a bunch of last chances, that’s over with. So yes, we set him up and sprinkled crack on him. How unfair. :rolleyes: > [@](#): > > Okay. I, for one, find it shocking that mswas only got 17 warnings before the ban stick came out. What kind of crazy number is _that_? Everyone else gets 20. Actually, I’ll kind of miss ol’ **swas** , but hey, he dug his own grave with a goddamn backhoe. ---

I don’t know if it makes any difference but it might have a little bit of an effect due to inertia. ---

It’s not even close to a cheap shot, you have made it abundantly clear you just didn’t like the poster. Said poster has contributed a whole lot more to the board then posting inflammatory retorts regarding his banning for “their entertainment”. I’m not absolving mswas of all guilt in this matter but we lost more then what was gained if you ask me. ---
