You started a [thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=420984&page=1&pp=50) about whether or not society has a responsibility to accept transgendered individuals, a topic that is rather dear to a few posters. One can accept a great debate exloring this issue and it enlightened many folks. The fact that you were not able to see the point that others were arguing is not a problem. Your nonsensical demands that you be referred to as a [dragon](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=8580721&postcount=196) or a [female](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=8585479&postcount=245) by one particular poster, while strange are not pitworthy in themselves. Your claims of not believing in materialism but insisting that gender was determined by an ever changing set of materialistic requirements isn’t pity worthy by its lonesome either. Nor your view that gender reassignment surgery was a ‘luxury’ procedure and that they should just suck it up, your defense of bigots, your warped view that male and female have static definitions, your claim of Trannydar, your in acceptance of common definitions, your inability to back up your arguments with factual citations or your claim that gender reassignment surgery uses “leather vaginas”. But all of that in addition to the fact that you are [purposefully](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=8597480&postcount=348) arguing contrary to your beliefs and attempting to [decieve](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=8583902&postcount=225) the rest of the posters is reprehensable. I’ve got no problem playing the Devil’s Advocate, but doing so in an underhanded manner is uncalled for. There’s no good reason you couldn’t tell us in your OP that you were doing so. I would have been fine with it. Rather we’ve got 8 pages of trying to cut through your nonsensical ramblings and intentionally obfuscated point of view. Fuck off and go polymorph yourself into an asshat. Finally the outward appearance would match the soul that lurks within. We need more people to question authority and complacency. However we’ve got more than enough dishonest shit eaters to last us centuries. ---

I have to admit I didn’t read the original thread but scrolling past the title always gave me bad thoughts. “Do we have a responsibility to accept transgendered individuals?” NO! They should be shunned and ridiculed at all opportunities. They’re not allowed in our tree house because they like, have cooties and stuff. BTW, do they still make cooties? You know, those cute plastic bugs with the yellow eyes, legs, and antennas. Those were awesome back in the day. Time to do some google research/buy some off Amazon… ---

Arguing a position contrary to one you hold personally is just how debate goes sometimes. Shifting goalposts, arbitrarily redefining words, presenting unclear arguments, presenting (when clear) inconsistent arguments, and yelling “ad hominem!” when challenged on these things is not.
