In college it was Genesis and Ravel’s Bolero (from Bo Derek’s smokin’ “10” days). In my single days, it was a bunch of “MTMLT” tapes my roommates and I made that were a compilation of all kinds of stuff - rock, jazz, blues. Now that we’ve got tunes back in our bedroom, I’m looking for new ideas. So what’s your background pleasure for pleasure? I mean, besides Barry White, of course… ---

I’ve heard some people mention Zeppelin’s “Cashmere”. Must only work when you’re on drugs, I guess. Besides that, anything by the Buggles. ---

I’ve always been told that “Moments in Love” by The Art of Noise was a good one for this sort of thing, although I’ve never used that one personally for just such an occasion (Though I am a REALLY BIG Art of Noise fan). Personally, I’ve used entire Kenny G Live CD for that occasion. It worked out rather well. 🙂 ---

First, it’s Kashmir, like the state in India. I have found these discs to be great sex soundtrack music. Philip Glass, **Glassworks** Macy Gray, \*\* The Way Life Is\*\* Richard Wagner, **Mild und Leise** , aka the Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde. Anything by Prince Pink Floyd, **Echoes** Bob Marley, **Legend** Anything with a nice repetitive beat to help you get your freak on works. ---

Jazz (no vocals, unless its Billy Holiday), and classical (but nothing too bombastic - Holtz, for instance, is just too much, same with Mahler), maybe Haydn or Mozart. Bolero works because of the repetition and the looooong build up (a little trite, but good for a laugh). Speaking of Philip Glass, a joke: Knock knock Who’s there? Philip Glass Philip Glass who? Anything with amazing saxaphone. Too many words are a bad thing. I agree with cheepbastid about Enigma. Clannad is pretty good to or Enya. It depends on the sex though. Hard sex needs hard music etc. ---
