My god I hate that network so much. It has corrupted an entire generation. All of sudden MTV decides what music is good? What the fuck is that? Where the fuck did Brittney Spears, or the Backstreet Boys come from. MTV made them. Its not even about the music its all about image. Allright so I’m not expressing myself very well, but god damn I hate what MTV represents. An entire generation obeying MTV with brainless obedience. MTV doesn’t even show music videos anymore its all of these stupid shows thats hosted by their little VJs. What the hell happened to “music” television? MTV is a pox on this world that must be destroyed (MTV I mean, not the world). ---

So what’s new? MTV has _always_ sucked! I was there at the inception, saw the first video (“Video Killed the Radio Star” by the Buggles (?)), and it _sucked!_ It has sucked, it does suck, it always will suck! ---

I was there too. But MTV hasn’t always sucked. Back when they showed Rock videos, they were really good (I’d _still_do Martha Quinn!). But then they got into programs, metal, “R&B” (in quotation marks because it’s NOT Rhythm and Blues, it’s sappy nasal whining) and rap. I still remember holding my Panasonic tape recorder up to the TV (this was before Boom Boxes) trying to capture my favourite songs. Of course, there was always the background noise to deal with. To this day, I can’t hear Devo’s “Whip It” without imagining my mother’s voice behind the music telling me to turn off the TV and come to dinner. ---

Yes while I’m the first to agree that I’m stating the obvious ten years to late. I still felt that it needed to be said. Up until a week ago I was one of the brainless zombies that followed MTV. Then one night under the influence of many substances I realized the truth. Now I feel that it is my mission to educate all you ignorant fuckers. And I swear if anyone disses my name I will personally come to their house, and stick my foot up their ass. ---

Thank you Anya I have only been here a little while, but allready I feel that I am accepted into your friendly little community. Its nice to know that I am not alone in my fight against MTV (now and forever more to be known as the evil pig-fuckers of darkness). _sniff_ It’s so cute to see them realise they’ve been seriously screwed over and generally used by MTV as a brainless slave. They wake up one morning and realise there is more to life than some stupid TV. More to life than mass produced media swill overhyped and forcefed into a generation of waiting zombies. I watch MTV for Beavis and Butthead. Heh-heh-heh-heh. Now that Mike Judge went to Fox, there is no good reason to watch MTV. They even diluted the WWF show. Unforgivable!! ---
