# Mubarak Stepping Down

Wow. We don’t see people sign their own death warrants too often. Has Mubbie looked out the window in two weeks? I don’t see everyone waving guns around, but they’re not carrying trays of tea and cakes either.

Shot, stabbed, strangled, kidnapped, you pick it. One of these is happening to this guy before Monday.

Now they’re saying that “Mubarak has no power.” So why the hell is he staying there?

To keep Fathi Sorour from muddling things up any further. Right now most of the influential players (including the U.S.) would rather have Suleiman doing things until elections come around.

According to news reports, [Mubarack](http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41526422/ns/world_news-mideast/n_africa/?GT1=43001) and his family have left Cairo.

I heard one report indicating that this move was not out of fear or anything, but an attempt to be out-of-sight, out-of-mind. I’m just wondering if he’s clinging to anything besides stubborn pride/megalomania.
