What triggers a thread to go to a “next page”? Post Count?, Message size? It appears to be different in each case. I don’t need this information for my thesis, but it would sure help cure my intense and overwhelming curiosity. ---

Gunny, just so you don’t get a big head about it, I’ll point out that it’s 50 posts per page, not replies. The first page gets an OP and 49 replies. ---

The scene: a small saloon on a dusty street in the Wild West… The cowboy doors fly open, **Gunslinger** swaggers in, crushing a roll-up cigarette under his foot. He slowly and confidently scans the room, expectant of the usual scared and awestruck silence. But not this time… Stifled laughter and whispers from all corners: “Hey, it’s that guy! Y’know, the guy who said fifty _replies_ per page!! heheheh”.
