Multi-platform games, how do you choose?

I go PC first if there’s a PC version, then PS3, then 360, unless there’s mention in reviews or otherwise that a particular 360 version is much better than a PS3 version. Mostly, I just like the PS3 controller a bunch better than the 360 controller. Keyboard and mouse come first, though, not to mention the potential to mod a lot of things on the PC, and the simple fact that niche strategy games are usually PC only.

Pish, they all have documented problems. The nice thing about having all of the consoles is that each gets 1/3rd the use. I swapped this 360 out with an infant mortality problem, and just recently replaced the DVD drive (now that I think about it, the infant mortality problem with DVD related.) The replacement drive was $10…granted, it required a little soldering on the logic board swap…but the price sure was right. Figure that refurbed units get tested harder.

(I have zero desire to derail this into a ‘my solution’s better than yours’ debate.)
