Of course. It they earn the scholarships they will perform adequately. If you randomly put black children in those private schools most will do poorly and many will be discipline problems. That is what happened with forced school busing.

I ask because I’ve met Palestinian refugees and South African blacks who aren’t remotely as resentful towards whites or Jews as you are towards blacks.
I have been the victim of several black criminals, as have relatives, and friends. Some of those friends are black. I am sure that white muggers exist, but I have never heard of one.
Blacks do have a rate of violent crime that is over seven times the white crime rate. It bothers me that we cannot discuss this unless we pretend that is somehow the fault of “white racism.”

They are casual friends. I know them by name. I listen to them more than I talk to them. What I hear are stories of black crime. Recently one told me how disgusted she is with welfare mothers who spend their welfare checks on crack cocaine.
Instead of trying to psychoanalyze me, why don’t you acknowledge that blacks are a problem? They have high crime rates, and low average IQs. Those are facts. As Chief Pedant suggested, they might need to lower entry requirements if they want proportional representation (which already happens to some extent).
Also, make skill selection a requirement for immigration. You can’t just assume that migrants are going to be able to assimilate or get similar academic outcomes as the existing current population. So screen them to ensure you get ones who will be competitive. Otherwise you risk creating an underclass.
I suppose some might. Most just try to get through their day until they can get out and do other things they find more enjoyable. Most don’t give a shit what their critics think since they know they would never be able to please most of them no matter what, so why make the effort.

:rolleyes: Families come in all shapes and sizes. The state has no right in determining how anyone defines their family, and if support is given to some types, it should be given to all. A fair number of single moms also happen to be non-minorities, i.e. white folk. And at all income levels. I remember more than a couple girls who went away for extended summers, and did not look at that well rested when they returned.

Actually, they really don’t in my experience. Most are pretty content with their lot in life as long as cervezas are around, tortillas on the stove, and the cabrones didn’t break anything serious. And they consider the quality of life of most WASPs fairly sad - “they stick their parents in nursing homes? They pay strangers to watch them and cook for them? And that food? I would not wish that on my worst enemy.” “She only talks to her brother on his birthdays? Madre Dios, what happened?”
I did not like the peasant mentality myself for a long time. I felt they were short changing themselves. But if you set the bar low, it is that much easier to reach it. And they have different standards of quality of life. Not better or worse. Different. Not the path I chose, but I no longer begrudge my cousins for choosing theirs. They don’t understand why I set mine so high.
But that is the beauty of multiculturalism. Different strokes for different folks. We are all entitled to the same opportunity, but we each have different preferences. And we need to respect each other since this tiny rock is the only place we know of where we can survive.
I think that this thread helps demonstrate that yes, opposition to multiculturalism really is mostly about racism, deep down. It certainly didn’t take long to devolve into yet another “blacks and brown people are inferior” thread.
Considering that the so-called “crime rate” is just how often the police choose to arrest someone and how often the courts choose to convict, racism matters. Race and gender and social class affect “crime rate” by affecting whether or not the cops & courts will look the other way, or use you as a scapegoat and ram a conviction through regardless of your innocence.
Except single parent families are poorer and thus we have to pay for that later on thus it is in the state’s interests to promote stable two-parent families unless you wish to slash all welfare.

Actually I support the idea of extended families. But otherwise it encourages provincial mindsets, and affects numerous areas such as test scores, economic productivity, and the amount of technically literate people. For the national interest, I prefer all Americans try to modernize themselves as much as possible.

You will note that I also used the term “class”, not just race. Plus his relationship was with a white woman; it is a common practice by police to ignore violence in such in order to punish the white woman. Just as the cops let Jeffery Dahmer haul off his last bleeding victim, laughing at him; they let violence in gay relationships go on, out of malice. And just as the cops if given a choice will arrest the man in most domestic disputes, even if the woman is unhurt and he has broken bones or stab wounds.
Wealth, race, sexuality and gender matter more than innocence or guilt.
