First off, I hope no one is seriously injured and there is no loss of life. That said, this is hilarious. [#Dumbkirk](https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Dumbkirk) is trending on Twitter. It also works on a lot of levels. For example it could be a metaphor for the Trump campaign’s penchant for being the cause of its own problems. Or it’s a metaphor for late stage capitalism because the bigger boats are swamping the smaller boats. No matter how you look at it, it’s pretty amusing. ---

That was my thought too as boating season would have begun during lockdown and many owners may have skipped it. I hate Trump but I’m a boating safety advocate and I can’t get my joys off boats sinking. I can assume that alcohol is also a factor. ---

It is comical that boats sunk, but they sunk because there were so many boats out there to support Trump that it created choppy conditions. I doubt if any Democratic president would have had the same kind of support. ---
