# Multiple e-mails for replies to a subscribed thread

Whenever I am subscribed to a thread I will receive a separate e-mail for _each_ reply to the thread, whether I’ve visited the thread again or not. Each of these e-mails say:

“There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the board again.”

This is not what’s happening. So here’s my question. Is there an option or something that will prevent me from receiving a new message for each & every reply?
