Kind of James Bond of the GOP representatives and their team- they are tough enough to take a bullet, regroup and then take out the insane Bernie Bro villain. Way to go, good-guys-with-guns-who-stop-bad-guys-with-guns. But please, everybody, stop with the random violence. Your personal crisis, your ideas about your identity or the identities of other people- none of this is any excuse. Terrorism and murder just don’t help anybody. ---

BTW, Fox News has a video that a bystander recorded on a cell phone. It’s not particularly graphic, but you can hear ~60 gun shots and see a person (presumably Scalise) laying in the grass, so [viewer discretion advised](http://video.foxnews.com/v/5471292591001/?#sp=show-clips). ---

I don’t think the person recording realized just how close some of the fire was coming to him. :eek: You can hear several distinct whistles of bullets passing nearby. ---

Please share where you’re seeing that GOP reps helped take out the shooter. Everything I’ve read indicates that Capital and local police took him out. I’m not seeing anything “James Bond” about hiding in the dugout, which is of course the normal “flight” response in this type of situation. ---

I thought the same thing. From time to time, I see videos where, to me, everything about the situation says “RUN!!!”, and yet, the videographer is sticking around to record. Maybe I’ve just got a lower risk tolerance than other people, or care less about my social media standing, or maybe they don’t realize just how much danger they were in. I don’t know what it is. ---
