Wake up, watch a parade, for the horses, eat black-eyed peas for luck, cowboy caviar, watch boob-tube some more, try not to loose anymore IQ points, go to bed take a nap, when I wake, take a walk, then do computer things. I change the calander on Dec 31 and the batteries at the same time. Like to get last years stuff done so new year is all new and ready. ---

I go to bed early and sleep through the midnight stuff, get up about 4:30am like usual and then take an early morning walk while the rest of the town sleeps off their hangovers. I love walking when I have the whole world to myself - something nice about that. Good way to start the year off, even if it’s below zero I get out there. But then I have to adjust my walk for all the layers I wear and it becomes more of a penguin-waddle than a real walk. ---
