Open large drawer next to desk Close large drawer next to desk Open up the SDMB, browse it. Close SDMB (after not finding anything interesting) Open the “infoeot” (customer e-mails) folder in outlook Close the “infoeot” (customer e-mails) folder in outlook Open the “tote” (business e-mails) folder in outlook Close the “tote” (business e-mails) folder in outlook Open the “Peter Lobley” (e-mails sent to me) folder in outlook Close the “Peter Lobley” (e-mails sent to me) folder in outlook Get up off my chair Walk around the room pretending to be interested in the things on the walls. Walk out to the water machine to get a cup of it. Drink the water in 5 seconds. And repeat. Has anyone else developed a mundane and pointless rountine at their place of work? ---

**Pointless Work Routines** Does waking up and going to work count? I often wonder if I’m actually needed here. Apart from answering the phone (which never seems to ring) and making coffee I don’t have much to do. Heck I can’t even make good coffee. ---

I wonder why people complain about jobs where they get paid to sit and do nothing. Sounds like heaven to me. 🙂 ---
