I was at the kitchen island getting my snack. Heard a noise. Go in my room and a murder has occurred. What is that allover the floor? Oh, oh. I see the victim under the bed. Round, pink and a few spots. Face is gone. Stuff hanging out. Yep heard. No sounds. Because the squeaker is gone. I know I stepped on it. I look over at the suspects. The Outlaws. Butch and the Sundance Kid. The kid has alittle white fuzz on his mouth. The stuff on the floor is, in fact, polyester stuffing. I generally don’t buy these dog toys with stuffing. For just this eventuality. This Fat, pink squeaky Pig has poly-fill in. Why? It’s plastic-y. Tough stuff. One toothless Chihuahua and his brother ripped right through it. I am happy the squeaker is well and truly dead. Bayliss looked guilty. I think he’s innocent. It’s not his way. He went pushed the speech button “Out”. Puzzled as to his meaning, it could go a couple ways. I did find the pigs nose intact. Hmmm 🤔 ---

When I had a dog years ago I experienced many squeaker removals lol! ---

Well, I was kinda correct. Actually Butch had a poopy hanging from threads from his butt. I told the kids bring him to me to “fix” his problem. He thought “oooh, chase!” and off he went. Two other dogs, a cat and 6 kids “chasing”. By the time it ended his problem had solved itself. Thank the stars. I took a look. No one has fibers hanging out of unusual orifices. ---

We have two Border Collie mixes. When there is ever a commotion in the neighborhood (usually a dog across the way barking) Jax runs outside and grabs his ‘Mr. Moose’ (a squeaky toy). It’s his pacifier. ---

My baby gurl gently carries soft toys around in her mouth like they’re her babies. She even sometimes nibbles at them with her front teeth like she’s grooming them or biting away (imaginary) nits. Someone gave her stuffed tacos as a gift. It’s quite funny watch her walk around with a whole taco in her mouth & not eat it. ---

Bayliss doesn’t really do toys. He has a piece o’ crap throw pillow he likes a lot, right now. Occasionally he walks around with it in his mouth. As soon as the Outlaws get interested in it he hides it in his closet. [den] ---

One of our dogs was the de-squeaker _par excellence._ He could remove one in mere seconds. ---

We had the dogs that would de-squeekify their toys, but what was disturbing is with any toy that had eyes, one of them would immediately tear the eyes out. ---

I had a dog and wooly lamb doorstop(don’t scoff, it was cute til it went bald). My dog never missed, like never, smelling the lambs butt if he walked by it.
