Fortunately it appears that no taxpayer money went to funding this creationist theme park, so we can save the inevitable four-page SOCAS discussion for another day.
I wonder if GLAAD or anyone else will have something to say about the thing’s mention of us GLBTQA folks and AIDS.

I was wondering when this was going to come up. You know, not all of us who voted for Bush are evangelical Christians or believe the universe was created in six days and is only 6,000 years old.
Just because Mr. Ham wants to take Bush’s re-election as a sign that the US is becoming more fundamental Christian doesn’t make it so.
Now, can we please get back to discussing the merits of the exhibit, and keep the Bush-bashing for another time? I mean, there’s so much juicy detail to this exhibit, Dinky the Dinosaur the least of it, I’d rather not hijack it into a Bushbashfest.

[nitpick]Thought it was Japeth.[/nitpick] Wonder if part of that exhibit will be the “after” - all those lifeless corpses laying on the ground. Or does Ham think they were miraculously cleaned up afterward? I’d hate to think of the ensuing disease - er, I mean, all that sin-based punishment even after physical death.
[sub]To protest it would give it legitimacy, but it also leaves it standing, which could be interpreted as indifference or acceptance. Hmm…[/sub]

It’s not the Bible. It’s in warped Creationist’s thinking.
As a God fearing Christian mother fucking wanker myself, I am appalled at anyone trying to say that the universe took 6 24hr days to come into existance, or that dinos and man coexisted, but such seems to be my miserable fate, to be lumped in with non thinking extremists even by my friends.
Remember, not all Christians give credence to the man made farce of Creationism.
With that out of the way. What a bunch of maroons! I’d go just to laugh in front of them.

And, **NCB** , I wasn’t lumping all Christians in with Answers in Genesis. I know it’s the more extreme wing of the Christian community, you know, the ones that think the tsunamis were God’s retribution against the infidels.
