yeah, but you never get bottles with that thick layer on top anymore.

I think most people don’t get milk in bottles at all anymore (though presumably some still do)
Cassette Player Walkmans… Haven’t seen a new one since the early '90s,
New ones are still being made. I happened to be in Wal-Mart this afternoon, and thinking about this thread, I strolled through the electronics department to take a look. There was only one model, an RCA, and it was dirt cheap, about 8 bucks. It had AM and FM, although it was an analogue tuner. Granted, there is no longer a market for them, but should you really, really want a new one, they aren’t hard to find.

The milkman is alive and well in the UK.

I must re-read the manual. I thought Microsoft Outlook came with a _diary_ function. :smack:
Audiophiles, right or wrong, think tubes give them a much better tone than transistors, and as long as they’re willing to buy them someone is going to make them.
Not audiophiles, musicians. Electric guitar players anyway. They prefer tube amplfiers, and there isn’t any debate. Several solid state amplifiers are engineered to produce “that tube sound” as well.
