I was going to recommend them, but thought it might be damn hard to find any of their stuff. Now I see that Amazon has their stuff on mp3, so I recommend the album [Distance](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QQV5A2/ref=dm_sp_alb?ie=UTF8&qid=1251068311&sr=8-2). Also, to a lesser extent, [Aftermath](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QQPOAY/ref=sr_1_album_1_rd?ie=UTF8&child=B000QVOYQ4&qid=1251068404&sr=1-1) if you want something more aggressive.

> Darkwave, light industrial, synthpop, ethereal, and trip hop are some of my favorite genres, and I tend to listen to female vocalists, so this is right up my alley. Some stuff not yet mentioned:

Yeah, he almost got me an internship at a very cool recording studio. They had the console that Kashmir was recorded on. It was a very cool studio. The problem was when I wasn’t with Roli I couldn’t get back in and I couldn’t get a callback. ☹ Apollyon Sun was recording there when I went in. I’d just been fired from subway for not making sandwiches fast enough and Tom Warrior told me that I’d definitely make it in that business because of that. 😉 It helped my self-esteem cuz I felt like I was an idiot for not being able to make sandwiches fast enough, and by not fast enough I mean about 10x as fast as anyone outside of Manhattan makes them. I was only like 5x as fast as your local sandwich artist. 😉 He was wrong of course, I never made it in that biz.

Roli Mossiman was kind of a depressive who whined about his ex-wife a lot and talked about his kid non-stop. 😉

Awesome. That said, you’re going to give me a swelled head if you keep liking all the music I suggest.
