# Music playing when viewing SDMB?

Lately I often hear a song when viewing SDMB.
(It may always be the same song. I’ll listen and write down the words next time, if that will help. 😃 )
Is this “correct”?

Same thing happened to me this morning. I don’t know what it was as I tried to quickly mute my computer to keep it from waking my bedmate. If it does it again I’ll try to listen to the words.

After a few days of silence, it came again. It’s an ad for
[m-stormsociety.com](http://m-stormsociety.com)
(I didn’t catch the ad earlier, instead clicking Browser Back quickly to stop the annoyance.)
I mightn’t mind so much if the song were pleasant but it isn’t; it starts
"Here we go; I think we should … "
For some reason it seems to show up in MPSIMS rather than any other forum.
BTW, I notice clicking on a link in a message here directs via [api.viglink.com](http://api.viglink.com). Is this some mechanism to help present more clickable ads? Do paid SDMB members also get the benefit of this feature?
Edit: It must like me today. Song has played TWICE more in time to meet the Edit deadline
