Our music teacher/choir director played piano, one student played tambourine, and the rest of us sang vocals. Until now I never knew it was a REAL song that had been nominated for a Grammy in 1974, and reached Number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 that same year! -Slaughter ---

I’m going with [Cherrelle - I Didn’t Mean To Turn You On](https://youtu.be/zJE_lbjx87U) from 1984, and will quote my original comment from another version of that video: “One of my favorite Cherrelle songs, but this is the first time I’ve seen the video in more than 30 years! And while I love this version of ‘I Didn’t Mean To Turn You On’, this video is the absolute WORST! Cherrelle can’t dance to save her life, and is it too much to ask that an artist be able to convincingly lip sync to their own damn song?!?” At about 1:13 we see Cherrelle’s head bob around like she’s avoiding a pesky fly on the set, while moving her legs as if she’s trying to loosen a wedgie! 5 years later for her hit [“Affair”](https://youtu.be/W10Yl_s1Ytc) she hadn’t gotten any better. This one is made worse by the decision to surround her with people who actually CAN dance. Maybe it was thought that she’d just blend in, but to me it makes her stiffness even more obvious. -Slaughter ---

I’d have to rewatch the video to see if I think the whole thing is embarassing/hilarious, but as far as _moments_ in music videos… Anthony Kiedis’ fat boobies boucing in slo-mo as he runs along the beach in the “Under the Bridge” video. We used to laugh our asses off at that. ---
