God forgive me, I loved the Pipettes! Even got them to autograph my CD! But now that RiotBecki and Rosay have left the band, I think the bloom is off the rose! (so to speak!) ---

I own entirely too many happy hardcore DJ mixes for my own goodā€¦ itā€™s the musical equivalent of cotton candy - disgustingly sweet and completely lacking any sort of substance, but itā€™s so light and fluffy and pink that you canā€™t help but smile. I have absolutely no intention of getting rid of them, either, because gosh darnit, that stupid music makes me ridiculously happy. Deep down, I guess thereā€™s a small part of me thatā€™s still a phat-pants-wearing, pacifier-sucking, bead-necklace-wearing, lightstick-waving candy raver. I know. Iā€™ll hand in my hipster card and Beck CDs at the door. _sigh_ ---
