Iron Maiden was my goto “stoned” music back then, when I was young and not subject to drug testing. Dio was not uncommon in my music line up for those times also, but mostly Iron Maiden. While I really did(and still do) enjoy Pink Floyd, that band was utterly boring to me when high. ---

I like the direction you’re heading, but for me I’d go with a smooth spiced sipping rum, a Davidoff cigar, and a Bubba Kush vape cartridge from the dispensary, while listening to an achingly serine, introspective Chopin nocturne with great emotional depth, like his Nocturne Op 48 No.1 C minor. What? No one has mentioned King Crimson? Some of you guys (a non-sexist pronoun to me) are so young. The good ones to me are Floyd, Moody Blues, Beatles (of course), Crimson, Yes (especially The Yes Album and Close to the Edge). And oh so many others! For classical, try Stravinsky - especially The Rite of Spring and The Firebird. And yes, I’m old. Saw Hendrix at the second Atlanta pop festival, ending with the Star Spangled Banner. One of those memories of a lifetime. ---
