It wasn’t intended to be John Hardy (although “desperate little man” would have been good question material). The artist I had in mind is much loved on the SDMB. ---

I’m singing these lines to myself (I want a doctor… to take your picture… so I can look at you from inside as well) over and over, but it’s not helping.
