It’s just the “bit” of skin. A “bit” of skin, for those who were fortunate enough to NOT stumble upon the link in an inappropriate place and haven’t otherwise clicked, is a woman who is COMPLETELY NAKED, save for a single “angel wing” protruding from behind her back. I don’t know about you, but being completely naked equals more than a “bit” of skin – whether it’s my skin or someone whose skin I’m looking at. Not to mention that “this outcry” equals two threads with a total of eight posts, half of which have come from administrators. Everyone has a bad day on occasion. Fewer of us (I hope) are rude to paying customers when it happens. Still fewer are rude on more than one occasion and not out of a job. Guess you’re one of the lucky ones. ---

And yet another silly **Garfield226** rant about **TubaDiva**. How… predictable. (Must be Tuesday.) I know you’re always shopping, trying on cross after cross just to find the perfect size for you to splinter your ass on, but perhaps you could step back from your juvenile whining, take a deep breath, and realize that **TubaDiva** was _not_ being rude to the people who posted about the site, but was, instead, lamenting the fact that workplaces, and the self-appointed guardians of societal mores, overall, are much more tolerant of violence and gore than they are of anything even remotely sexual. Which is funny, see, 'cause violence can kill ya, but sex usually doesn’t. (Well, not unless you’re doing it really wrong.) So, you’ll have to pardon **TubaDiva** for not going into minute detail about why the website was probably NSFW; and you’ll have to look deep, deep (no, deeper—down where your head’s usually hiding out) in yourself to forgive her for not slapping a warning label on her use of hyperbole in her choice of “outcry”; I’m sure she probably wasn’t expecting her biggest fan, yet again, to pop his head in just to screech about something inconsequential. Most criticisms of **TubaDiva** are silly and unwarranted. This goes beyond anything ever seen before. **TubaDiva** is annoyed at a world where naked women are considered more offensive than violence. Dear God, let’s string her up! ---

I agree with Priceguy. From the UK perspective, it seems there was far more concern in the US over a breast appearing at the SuperBowl than the consequences of the Iraq war. ---

It’s not the news about the nudists recruiting, or some nude artwork or Anne Geddes photos. This is a woman in a seductive pose with a sexual statement in easily readable text above her. If _anyone but Tuba herself_ had posted the same thing in a thread, I would be extremely surprised if the link had not been broken or a “possibly NSFW” warning was not added by a passing mod, likely with no other comment. But no…since it’s the esteemed (or, in this case apparently, steamed) Tuba – arbiter of what should be accepted both on this board and off, it’s not “Oh yeah, sorry about that, I forgot,” or “Eh, I think it’s fine, I’m just going to leave it,” we get a diatribe about How Things Should Be, frustration about a non-existant “outcry,” and a ridiculous disclaimer added in spite that dismisses the legitimate concerns of an upstanding member. ---

The original complaint about the link being NSFW is what’s disappointing to me. The whole damn SDMB is NSFW. This has been the case for the 7+ years I’ve been here. I cannot imagine that a system admin concerned about a woman who is mostly nude (with breasts and pubis covered) would not be equally concerned about a forum which contains such disgusting threads along the lines of “guess what I pooped today”, “what color is your anus”, and “let’s talk about popping pimples and what comes out.” Seriously, which would easier to explain to your boss or a system admin - that you accidentally clicked on a link and went to a site with a picture of a (nearly) nude woman, or that you liked reading a board where a bunch of people posted about what shambled out of their anus that day?
