Poor little darling. I hope she doesn’t suffer too much more pain, it sounds like she’s had more than enough in her short life. I hope this new baby brings some joy to a household that needs joy. I’m so sorry for all of you, my heart aches. ---

Wow, a new baby. Congratulations. My friend, Kathy, had a sister, Carrie, who tragically died of leukemia at the age of 3 – a few months before Kathy was born. Kathy never met her big sister, but thinks of her often and says that she loves her in a way that is beyond reason, as if her mother’s love for her dying child seeped into Kathy’s consciousness while in utero. She had Carrie’s picture displayed and a candle lit at her wedding. Go peacefully, little Naomi. ---

Naomi continues to be in a sort of sleep. This morning however, she was able to communicate to her mother and I. She drank some water from a syringe and even ate a bit of yogurt. Right now she’s comfortabley resting in our bed. I am so thankful she’s not in some intencve care unit with lady skiers answering the phone. Right now, there is only one better place for her to be, and she will be there very soon. God bless you all and thank you again. Roadwalker. ---

Naomi lost her battle with cancer this evening. She peacefully passed away between my wife and I. We held her as she took her last breaths. While we are devestated by our loss, we can’t help but feel the love of all those surrounding us. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support._Know that your prayers have been answered._ I tell the truth when I say that you here at the SDMB have made it easier for me. God blees you all. Remember the little things that she blessed your life with. While she is gone she still touched many peoples lives, including mine and I never saw her.
