My Always-Blurry Digital Photos: Why?

But please, if you must use lens cleaner (and chances are you don’t need to) do not put the cleaner directly on the lens!

Moisten the Q Tip (or microfiber cloth) with just a hint of the solution and and gently rub in a circular motion across the lens. Immediately dry with the other end of the swab, also in a circular motion.

Avoid leaving the solution on the lens itself for any amount of time; moisture will get into the lens elements, at which point you may as well throw the camera away.

As for the blurry pictures remember, digital cameras all have a lag time between when you press the shutter button, and when the picture is actually exposed. You’ve got to hold the camera steady long after you push the button.

Probably true,

Can you check the meta-data that the camera stores with each photo?

With my camera I can go into the file and see all the settings that the camera used or was set at at the time of the photo. See if you can access this info. This info is part of the file after it is uploaded to the computer. If you use ACDC I think its in the “options” section, then under “file info” or “meta-data”.

Get a new monitor

It probably is that you’re shaking the camera. Try not to move the camera until you’re sure it’s taken the picture and saved it on the disk.

If the problem is still there, I’d say take it to a camera shop.
