I once asked my step-mother why she didn’t believe in Zeus or any other of the countless gods.
“That would be superstitious,” she said. “There’s only the God of the Bible!” (And she probably meant the New Testament God, at that)
I said, “Well, I just believe in one less god than you do.”
. . . This isn’t actually a porn thread, is it?

And she looked at you like you were a three-headed dog, didn’t she?
I’m not entirely sure. OP’s red-fonted quotations and liturgical interpretations appear to have climactic intent.

Dear Penthouse Forum,
I never believed it would happen to me…and especially not in church!
The faithful Christian goes to heaven when his/her body dies.
Were you touched by The Lord?
I’m not current with the Catholic faith-can someone confirm this?
And if so, can you show us on this doll where He touched you?
“Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.”
Even the faithful child molesters?

I’m not seeing the connection … Jesus appears to nine-year-old … 75-80 dead soul saved … I’d like some infill here if you don’t mind … as a True Believer, your soul was saved; why did your “dead soul” need more salvation? Are we talking about peoples who are “dead to the Holy Spirit” … or are we talking about the souls of dead peoples?
We are talking about 75-80 souls who are dead and in hell.

Hi there, ScottRP ! If you’re back for a while, I’d still love to chat with you about your faith.
Specifically, I’d like to know how your unique set of beliefs and experiences changes how you interact with the world and your fellow humans. You have said that you seek to become more Christlike, is that correct? What, specifically, does that mean?
That’s it? 75-80? What exactly did they do to end up there?
why 75-80? where did that number range come from?
Suspiciously similar to the amount of seats on an express bus.

Any priest of just about any denomination on the face of this planet would have a greater education in Theology and the Scriptures than you’ve evidenced here. And your “insights” don’t seem to match what verses you’re basing them on, as Fear Itself so ably showed.
Why would you wish to have chosen such? You evidently don’t think much of the RCC priests or that church’s actual teachings.
What you’re posting here doesn’t match up with the Roman Catholic Church’s teachings. How do you explain that?
Given your comment about the priests (not to mention your, let’s call it variance from RCC teachign), I’d say that your priest’s response quite likely will not be what you seem to think it will be.
Really, now? And who would those be? After all, Judgment Day hasn’t arrived yet.
To the contrary, my insight would fair exceed their understanding of some scripture.
I believe in the Roman Catholic Church and have found nothing wrong with their teachings.
What I am posting here not only matches up with the teachings of the Catholic Church but on some accounts exceeds their teachings. This thread truly is a win in the fight against ignorance.
I just find it an interestingly precise, yet oddly vague range. If God prescribed it, why couldn’t he be more precise. If the OP thought of it, why 75-80, specifically?
Not yet. But in our defense, you don’t seem willing to make the required effort.
