# My Annual DVD Shopping Trip

Well three weeks to go until my annual Shopping Trip to the US of A. Turnign to the “DVD” section of my list I note:

Some Like It Hot was a big hit with The Guys? So what Marylyn Monroe movie should I get now?

I need a James Bond movie. Which was best? Which had the best girls?

I need a Pink Panther movie. Which one is the funniest?

Same question for Cheech and Chong movies.

Charlie’s Angels is on the list. Which other movies are noteworthy for pretty girls (GEE thisseems to be a trend!)

Which other funny ovies are out in the The World nowadays?

_Back to the Future_ has just come out. _Death to Smoochy_ was excellent also, if you enjoy dark comedy.

Try _The Seven Year Itch_. It’s also directed by Billy Wilder and contains that famous scene of the subway blowing Monroe’s skirt up. You should supplement this with some Grace Kelly. I recommend _Rear Window_ by Hitchcock. It’s a tightly directed thriller with plenty of style and wit. Kelly is positively luminous. Also, keep an eye out for “Miss Torso”.

_The Spy Who Loved Me_ is one of the better ones. Also try _Goldfinger_, my personal favourite.

_A Shot in the Dark_ is the funnist, IMHO.

Definitely get the first one, _Up in Smoke_. Most of the sequels are tired rehashes of the same jokes

If you appreciate Cheech & Chong, then you should definitely get your hands on _The Big Lebowski_. It’s a typically warped Coen Bros. tribute to film noir starring Jeff Bridges as a laid-back stoner named “The Dude”. Hilarious.
