# My arm is so sore.

From last night. Mr. Rilch and I were at the wrap party for the film he just finished, and after introducing me to some of his mates, he went off to the bar. They asked me if I wanted to give it a try, and I figured, what the heck.

After a few false starts, I turned out to be pretty good at it. The trick was choosing the right ball. And I was worried about hitting my leg, but I never did. Pretty soon, I was knockin’ 'em down over and over. The guys just kept cheering me on, and so did Mr. Rilch, once he came back.

Yes, I bowled last night, for the first time since I was twelve! I even got a strike!

When I saw this thread all I could think was, “I can barely raise my right arm, 'cause I did so many.”

Too bad that was the only funny line in the whole movie.

This has happened to me a number of times, as I bowl approximately once every five years or so.

Wiping one’s ass with the wrong hand is comedy gold, I can tell you.

I bowl like I live, mostly in the gutter.

I gave up bowling for sex. The balls are lighter and you don’t need special shoes (well, not _most_ of the time).
