# My baby is gone!

My warranty on my Macbook expires in February, so I mailed it off today to get some last-minute repairs done. The AC adapter had been flaking out for a while, and my case is starting to crack from where the magnetic closure hits it, so it needed to be done.

But I feel so naked! I didn’t realize how light my messenger bag would feel, or how strange it is to have to find a computer lab on-campus to go get on here, or all of those other consequences of not having my laptop.

My roommate says it’ll probably be back to me on Wednesday or Thursday - here’s hoping!

This is why I have two!  
(Actually I bought the big laptop back when I thought I was done with school, and bought a small one recently for Round 2, but still, having two is useful!)
