I liked and respected the man and he up and quits. ☹ But it means I didn’t have to lose my office to the new VP :), but it would’ve been nice if he told me he was quitting before I got half moved. :mad: I long ago lost track of all the former co-workers I have from thirty-some years in the workforce (where’s the old fart smiley?) and I have plenty of other bosses 😕 so I recovered quickly 😃 and was making a suggestion for his replacement :rolleyes: (not me 😛 ) to the hot HR lady 🆒 but got distracted because she was cleaning out his desk and kept bending over and giving me a lovely view down her blouse. :eek: Yeah, I’m one evil :wally. ---

My boss quit one day. Not because of me. But because of _her_ boss. Who became my boss afterwards. Which is when I quit too. ---

If it weren’t for the fact that we were running a skeleton staff I’d love it if my boss quit. But then again I’d love it if I won the lottery. ---

Our only current Jewish guy isn’t in our department. It’s an odd feeling, having come here from a company in Skokie, IL, a largely Jewish town. And no Muslims, either. I have so many fewer holidays to keep track of. I am thankful we hired a Brit and a Scot, though. That adds to the variety of holidays. “Did you have a nice Boxing day?” “Happy Hogmanay!”
