My sister in law is in the hospital and it does not look good. I won’t go into details, they aren’t necessary, except to say that her brain had been deprived of oxygen for a significant amount of time and now all they can do is wait until Thursday afternoon to do anymore tests. Realistically, we know it’s just a waiting game. But I am praying for a miracle. My Wicca friends are casting healing spells. My religious friends are mentioning her in their prayers. For purposes of anonymity, I will dub her “anySIL” if any of you wish to pray for her as well. My brother, altho numb, is mentally in a good space. He has no regrets, no guilt to attone for. I, however, need to obtain closer for stuff from many years ago. But that’s my issue. The odd thing, I was home with a headcold Monday, and took a nap in the afternoon. I dreamed a friend’s cherished kitty died. In the dream I sobed uncontrollably, and when I woke up, I was still crying. (this is extremely unusual for me) (I scooped Smokey up and hugged the purr right out of her. She stayed away from me for a few hours after that) My brother called me yesterday to tell me what had happened Monday afternoon. In retrospect, had I sensed it? or was it a premonition? ---

**Anyrose** , when something shattering like this happens, we search for meaning, anywhere we can find it. Either in dreams, or by soulsearching our interactions with the people involved. My thoughts are with you and anySIL. ---
