Take gentle care of yourself. Allow yourself permission to feel whatever emotion comes because you have to walk through the pain of your loss before you can begin to heal. Having lost 3 family members to suicide, I know that it leaves way more questions than answers. You may never know what he was thinking at the time other than he apparently felt he no longer had any other options. ---

I have nine other siblings but my brother and I lived in tje same small town forever and had a huge amount of friends in common. I found out he was missing in April when I last tried to get in touch with him. A close friend of ours died in a house fire with her two children. Sending you my deepest sympathies. Lost my mother to suicide, it will be 20 years on 9/13/11. I disagree with “It gets easier”, for me I think of this one thing every single day of my life. Not angry at her, never was, understood what she did and why. Just sad. Get some rest, my friend.
