# My browser gets hijacked

When I visit geocities, etc., my browser gets hijacked and diverted to ad sites. I’ve run ad & virus cleaners but nothing stops it. Can you help?

Just to be certain, you’ve tried both Adaware and Spybot? If you have, you’ll have to be more specific about the symptoms.

You can download their program hijackthis and put the log in their forums. You’ll get an answer in a day or so.
