Nothing in any of my posts in this thread belongs in The BBQ Pit. You claimed that the atheists were fighting the Christians, and I remarked that that the atheists were fighting _back_. What makes your statement acceptable in this forum, and mine not? ---

Are you fighting my agreement? Very strange Czarcasm. An atheist is someone who is against religion … a - theist. Agnostic is not caring one way or the other. Maybe we got our definitions mixed up? ---

Maybe we got our definitions mixed up? Not exactly. An atheist is one who is without religion. The “a-” means “Not having.” Someone with no brain would be acerebral. Someone without speech is aphasic, and so on. Of course, there are lots and lots of different kinds of atheists. Many atheists are against religion. But many are not. The latter kind are entirely willing to let other people have their religion. They just don’t share in the beliefs and assumptions, and see no need to participate in the rituals. ---
