In that case, the continuation of the thread depends entirely on **Skewbald**. I have a feeling he’ll be discouraged both by what people have said here and in the Pit, however. **How old do you suppose Skewbald really is?** As old as he claims to be. Nothing he’s said here has really given me reason to doubt _that_. ---

C’mon **Pluto** , let us have our fun. I expect that it all has some firm grounding in reality and love/lust is causing our young friend to overdramatize some things. I’m only 23 and _I’m_ feeling all whispy and nostalgic. At least I have been able to do just what **Skewbald** did: Work up the guts to ask the pretty girl out. (BTW, she sounds _wonderful_.) Anyway, when I worked up the guts, things went marvelously for me, too. Finally: **Dismemberment Plan**? **… And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead**? You two have AWESOME taste in music! ---

I think the picnic idea was great, I was going to suggest that… and the boat ride is even better… also, you should probably go to the beach again… there’s something about the ocean that is very romantic… are there any theme parks like disneyland or something nearby? that would be cool too in the future… ---

Yes, this is MPSIMS, so even if this is a mundane and pointless fictional story, there is no need to bash it here. As many have said, Skewbald’s story is entertaining us, take it or leave it at that. Personally, I do not have enough information to base a conclusion on (and neither does anyone else, IMHO), so I will reserve judgement. In the meantime, please continue, Skewbald. ---

For the record, this one thread, whether it’s fiction or not, is more than worth it. Makes my return happy, instead of annoyed and jaded like last time. **Skew** , if you are a teenager and are experiencing this, good for you. Fuck the rest. It really doesn’t matter what they think anyway. If you are writing fiction, keep it up. You’ve got a whole built in audience eating out of the palm of your hand. But I would recommend against telling if you are fibbing. You’d break hearts.
