# My daughter is having panic attacks

When I was in my early twenties, I started having panic attacks any time I was in a car. I’d imagine people throwing themselves under the wheels of my car, and my brakes failing. It got to a point that I couldn’t drive. I was ok as a passenger, though. I stopped driving for a year or so.

Eventually, it just stopped. I don’t know why they started. I don’t know why they stopped. But I’m glad.

I hope your daughter finds some relief soon. Panic attacks suck.
