As others have said, there are no words. The loss of a child must be the worst, and when the loss is preventable and utterly senseless, even more significantly so. I am so sorry for your loss. I will think of your daughter whenever I catch myself starting to drive too fast. ---

Johanna, I know words don’t mean a lot, but yours meant a lot to me. My deepest condolences. Your post brought back a memory of a boy killed by a speeding driver when I was young. I didn’t know him, but he was in my brother’s class in school. Just a kid bicylcing his way home from his parttime job at the Orange Julius. Such a waste! Both of them.
