The real “eew” is when they clean it up themselves.
I’ll have to second the crate thing for Casey…my yellow lab has NEVER peed in the crate and has figured things out admirably.
**lieu[/] that’s gross, but what I find fun is that I have to clean out the litter box less now that I have a dog…also don’t find any hairballs either…hmm, wonder where they’re going.

If you use a paper-based or corncob litter then, well, carry on.
