I still occasionally dream about my departed friend. In one I was playing with her and I scrunched up her little face and kissed her on the nose. I had forgotten about that until I read your post. Thank you.

Xanthous, I hope you’ll consider adopting another friend when the time is right. There are plenty of dogs out there that would love to share their love and lives with a good dog owner like you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. But Joey was a lucky boy to spend his life with someone who loved him so much. He can never be replaced, but I hope you will adopt another dog and share your love. It would be great for both of you.
