She followed us into the kitchen while we were talking to try to decide on which puppy to get. She stayed with us till we chose her. Thank you for reminding me the nothing is lost… that’s a good thing to remember. I’m going to put a memorial for her up on my web page soon. ---

**Archergal** - I’ve lost two best friends, and have two senior citizen dogs right now. The only way I can think of it is that the amount of pain you feel is in direct proportion to the love you gave and received. Not a bad pbargain, in my opinion. We should all try to be the people our dogs think we are. StG ---

So sorry to hear that Sasha died. Still miss Copper the amazing beagle, who died at the ripe old age of 5. Stupid cancer. ☹ Keep your chin up. Once some time passes, remember that there are lots of dogs out there that need a good owner like you. Can’t replace Sasha, but the right dog sure can fill a void. Right, Buddy? (He tapped his tail which indicates agreement.) ---

**Archergal** , I’m very sorry to hear that. My parents have had to put two of their three Cairn Terriers to sleep over the last couple years. It’s not something that gets easier the more you do it, either. Sasha is no doubt in Puppy Heaven, wagging her tail at you from above. ---
