Glad to hear things are getting better, and remember, we’re always here when you need to vent. In Spain Mother’s Day is the 1st Sunday in May; there was an article in the newspaper’s women’s magazine about how “it’s difficult to accept that there is a time when your mother becomes old and weak and it’s now your turn to take care of her; those of us who can accept our mother’s newfound weakness will be better for it” and I kept thinking, “ok, but what about those of us who have _always_ been taking care of our mothers, you _git_?” I figure that, if the sanctimonious writer’s mother has never had anything worse than a cold until her 70s or 80s, trying to explain that some of us have had to learn how _not_ to try and take care of our mothers during every minute of our lives wouldn’t get through. ---
