I knew he had a tumour on his colon didn’t know though if it was cancer or not. But now it has been confirmed, it’s malignant and he has metastases on his liver and on his stomach. He’ll be operated on in about a month and then chimo. I went through this (cancer) with my mother 9 years ago, a battle she lost and for some reason I’m not ready to go through it again with my father. But, it’s not like I have a choice in the matter, so I’ll pull up my sleeve and be there for him, no matter what. I just had to share here, cause I’m not quite ready to verbalize it without crying. Ah man, not a good day! ---

jools, I just attended my dad’s 1 year after-chemo checkup today, and the doctor said he is in full remission and in all around great health. I certainly hope that your dad is in a similar situation a year from now, and I wish you and you family the very best!!! Matthew ---
