Perhaps I should just throw this one in here, just to get it going again: _“Tell me again why december was banned but rjung isn’t”_ :rolleyes: This is a closed club, so I’m not sure if I’m allowed in here (where is the doorman?), but I would go with the: let it slide thing. No use crying over spilled milk. And no need to tear a good messageboard to shreds over this. Also I would be unhappy to lose your posts Sam. Anyway December is probably basking in Conservative heaven, or wherever it is conservative posters go when they’re banned. Perhaps we could have an _all banned day_. Confusion arises because **The Ace Of Swords** was originally called **The Ace of Spades** but got banned, reinstated, changed his name and then banned again. IIRC, which is by no means certain. pan ---

I believe divorce is immoral, let alone promiscuity. I also see your whine as a directly and deliberately disobeying Christ, not the author of Leviticus or Paul. I’ve got news for you, lad. Christ was a flaming liberal who contended with conservative religious authorities and shocked them by His habit of treating sinners with respect. I respect your right to disagree with me, but I will not stand for the implication that I am less of a Christian because I disagree with you. **Scylla** , thank you, this time in a positive sense. I have a strong streak of conservatism in me, but it’s the behaviour of people like **december** which make conservatism pretty unappealing to me. If I have to accept the premise that Clinton is the Anti-Christ in order to become a conservative, I’ll stay out, just as I’ll duck the liberal level if I have to accept the idea that our current president is the Anti-Christ. Many in this thread will be pleased to learn further light has been shed on this important matter this morning by no less than that arch conservative and wank rag of all tin foil toppers everywhere, Silvio Berlusconi According to Mr Berlusconi - and who are we to argue with a man who now controls an entire 55 million fully capitalist country – judges are “anthropologically different” to others. This is new and interesting information. Yet it does no more than underscore the implied message of Scylla’s equally important OP, one we may now see as a clever coded warning to all us non-Moderator or Admin members. Did Scylla have advanced waning of this announcement or is he so in the vanguard of conservative thinking that even Mr Berlusconi follows in his wake ? I suggest the evidence is clear; we should all afford Scylla the status and attention he so richly craves, consider the anthropologic case as made against our very own ‘judges’ and, in consequence, have the Chicago Reader staff check them for signs of missing links (and we ain’t talking Internet links). This is pretty much what I was talking about. Simply stating that I and some gay posters disagree causes some of the lefties here to have a fit of the hysterics and start making accusations. Again. I have no desire to hijack the thread into another case where you argue in increasingly louder tones that thinking that Scripture means what it unambiguously says is “just my interpretation”, whereas your idea that it really means exactly the opposite of what it says is iron-clad truth from On High. Nice post **Scylla**. As I am _on average_ moderate, so I interpreted the rules to allow me to post here. Sadly, while your post was factually correct, supported by the history of the forum and the Administration’s direct posts on the matter, a few people have decided not to let those little things sway them.
